Dr. Dianna Grant became the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Phoebe Putney Health System – a comprehensive, regional health system with 4,500 employees based in Albany, Georgia – on October 26, 2020. She has served as CMO for several prominent healthcare organizations, most recently serving at NextLevel Health Partners, a Medicaid managed care health plan for beneficiaries living the Chicagoland area and throughout Cook County.

Dr. Grant brings a long history and experience in creating cultures centered on safety – built on exceptional employee and patient relations. A native of Mississippi, Dr. Grant earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University and served as Chief Resident at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She also completed courses of study at some of the most prestigious universities in the country, including Harvard University, Northwestern University, and the University of California. She practiced as a family medicine physician for 27 years before transitioning to executive leadership.
